The Spotted Shark is committed to bringing awareness of vitiligo to the public sector. Our foundation is an (NPO), which stands for a non-profit organization. Our mission is to create a bond between mental health and bullying, due to vitiligo.

This skin condition is NOT contagious. You cannot "catch vitiligo" by eating, drinking or otherwise associating with a person who has vitilito. It is a genetic autoimmune disease where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own melanocytes (pigment-making cella), leaving areas of pigment loss.
